California Hemp has 25,000 Commercially Valuable Products

Hemp and marijuana are extracted out of the same species of cannabis plants. Yet they differ in their intoxicating symptoms directly linked to THC ratio or Tetrahydrocannabinol and CBD or cannabidiol contained in it. Experts have seen that the compound THC gets a person into a high while CBD is safe and has no psychotic effect on the individual. Although hemp too contains THC, it is only within the accepted range of 0.3% or less. In the case of marijuana, THC content may go up to 30% of its dry weight. Hence, studies have proved that THC is the most potent compound among the 483 compounds found in the cannabis plant.

With hemp being removed from Schedule 1 of the Federal Controlled Substances Act, it threw out many commercially viable products that would be available all over the world. It was good news for investors as California hemp was no longer a federally regulated substance, and therefore, large scale cultivation and mass production of around 25,000 products became a possibility.

Variety of Products and Business Opportunities

Hemp is being used both for medicine and various other consumer products, including skincare products. There are already billions of dollars worth of investments surrounding this plant, which would steadily rise soon. Hemp products are of different kinds, and therefore, pharmaceutical manufacturers are going over it in a big way.

Currently, hemp is being used as an oil to reduce the muscles’ stress and tension levels. The CBD compound found in hemp has anti-inflammatory properties, and this helps in relieving anxiety and stress. Commercial laboratories attached to pharmaceutical companies have started making a wide range of supplements from hemp.

Variety of Products and Business Opportunities

It has been established through research that California hemp is rich in protein, several types of vitamins and minerals. It also contains enough dietary fiber and most importantly, has an optimal ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. It not only aids in consumption but is more digestible than several other foods consumed by humans. CBD in hemp has enabled several pharmaceutical companies to establish their presence and exploit its anti-spasmodic, anti-epileptic and anti-psychotic properties for producing effective drugs.

Different Ranges of Commercial Products

Hemp has enabled vast areas of land to come under cultivation in California and other parts of the USA. It has engaged thousands of people in jobs right from cultivation to sale of end products. California hemp has been used to manufacture paper, textiles, food products, and animal feed. It is durable and entirely sustainable from an economic point of view. It has been seen that it grows faster than most other trees in the environment. Therefore, replanting and reusing hemp is profitable.

Perhaps the most sought after product and oil from it uniquely helps skin. It has brought forth numerous hemp-based products. It has been mainly found useful for nourishing the skin, oxidation, and anti-aging qualities.
