The city of Bethlehem, known as the birthplace of Jesus Christ, has decided to remove all Christmas decorations in solidarity with the people of Gaza. This decision was made due to the ongoing situation in Palestine, where people are feeling sad, angry, and upset over the killings in Gaza. The city believes it is not appropriate to celebrate while such a massacre is occurring. Instead, Bethlehem wants to convey a message of condolence and mourning to the world. Despite the cancellation of festivities, prayers and religious ceremonies will still be allowed to take place.
