Katherine Forster of GB News said she was left “shaken up” by an “intimidating” interaction with a pro-Palestinian protester during a live broadcast. The Metropolitan Police is investigating the incident. Forster reported on the 7th week of consecutive protests by pro-Palestinian groups in Central London. She noted that the protests start peacefully but often turn unpleasant later on. The police have had to detain protesters in recent weeks, including 150 on Armistice Day. Forster said she was intimidated by a protester who shouted at her and her team. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that they are investigating the incident and emphasized the importance of the press’s right to report on protests without facing intimidation. Gary Mond, Chairman of the National Jewish Assembly, called the incident a demonstration of intolerance by the pro-Palestinian demonstrators.
