At 8 P.M., the Associated Press called the New Hampshire primary race for Donald Trump. He made a speech while Nikki Haley was on stage at her headquarters in Concord, New Hampshire, conceding defeat and promising to fight on in her home state’s primary. Trump’s supporters spoke out, asking the Republican party to unite around Trump. People were already saying Trump’s victory meant the end of the Never Trumpers. Despite Haley’s defeat, it seems unlikely that the race won’t continue on. Trump may have beat Haley in New Hampshire, but the results were closer than expected. She still managed to secure over forty percent of the vote. Even though she campaigned against Trump, she is expected to support him in November.
