Israel has approved 24,000 litres (6,340 gallons) of diesel for UN operations in Gaza. Aid agencies say the lack of fuel has affected the delivery of essential supplies. The fuel is only for UN trucks, not hospitals. The US pressured the UN to accept the fuel. Israel has not commented, and it’s unclear how the fuel will be delivered. Gaza’s hospitals have suspended operations due to fuel shortages. Colonel Moshe Terto of the Israeli defence ministry said they are monitoring the fuel situation daily and will coordinate fuel entrance when needed.
