MK Mansour Abbas, leader of the Ra’am party, met with families of those held hostage in Gaza, delivering a petition and legal documents calling for the release of over 30 captive children. The families sent a letter speaking of the children’s abduction and emphasizing their shared humanity. Abbas expressed solidarity with the families and vowed to take action, stating that children should not be part of war and Islam cannot accept their captivity. He also delivered the materials to the Emir of Qatar, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey, and US President Joe Biden.
