Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of Hamas co-founder Sheikh Hassan Yousef, spoke at the UN on Monday about the horrors perpetrated by Hamas. Youssef discussed Hamas’ terror attacks, such as suicide bombings against Israeli civilians, and their indoctrination of the population in Gaza, especially children. He emphasized that Hamas does not believe in political borders and wants to annihilate an entire society to build an Islamic state.

Youssef, who defected from Hamas in the 1990s, worked with Israeli counter-intelligence and helped the Mossad in various operations, including incarcerating his own father. He highlighted how Hamas indoctrinates children with the intention of annihilating the state of Israel and shared personal experiences of being whipped by a Hamas leader as a punishment for disobedience.

Youssef has shared his experiences growing up in the West Bank city of Ramallah as the son of a Hamas co-founder in various public forums. He also spoke about his experiences at the 2019 Jerusalem Post Annual Conference and the 2017 UN Human Rights Council debate for UN Watch.

Youssef declared that blaming Israel will not solve the problem, as Hamas is committing a crime against current and future generations. He emphasized that he is not part of any propaganda and only represents himself.

It is clear from Youssef’s remarks that he is dedicated to highlighting the atrocities committed by Hamas, particularly their impact on children in Palestinian societies.
