The Jewish Electorate Institute poll found that 74% of Jewish registered voters approved of Biden’s handling of the Israel-Hamas war. Different polls showed that the majority of American voters disapproved of it. The polarization in US politics is reflected in Biden’s low ratings in the handling of the war. Jewish voters demonstrated strong approval for Biden’s approach. While Jewish voters generally showed strong support for Biden, Americans in general were more critical. The Jewish Electorate Institute, a nonpartisan institute, surveyed 800 Jewish registered voters and reported a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points. The poll also found that Jewish approval of Biden’s performance as president was much higher than the general electorate, 66% to 34%. The results suggest that Jewish voters tend to favor Democrats by substantial majorities.
