The video asking the question “Who would you prefer to care for your child, a trained professional or a Hamas terrorist?” has made a significant impact on social media. Barak Rivkind and Dani Schoffman, volunteers from the Hostage and Missing Families Forum, created the video in honor of World Children’s Day to bring attention to the struggles of families whose children have been kidnapped.

The video features a job interview-style scenario where various applicants showcase their credentials to be a babysitter. However, the video takes a dramatic turn when a man dressed as a Hamas terrorist sits on the couch, raising the question of who the parents would choose. The video emphasizes the plight of parents whose children are still being held captive by Hamas, concluding with the message “Bring them home now” in collaboration with the Hostage and Missing Families Forum.

Rivkind and Schoffman expressed disbelief at the skepticism surrounding the situation, particularly regarding the care and safety of the captive children. They highlighted the lack of agreement on basic facts, including the characterization of Hamas as a terrorist organization. Schoffman shared the heartbreaking reality that the parents have no knowledge of their children’s well-being or the conditions in which they are being held.

The creators hope to shed light on the ethical and humanitarian principles at stake in the ongoing conflict, emphasizing the urgency of returning the children to their families.
